Reminds me of my dad's old secretary - she drove an '87 Cavalier and used 87 octane gas, and questioned what people who drove cars from other model years used, because the gas station only carried gasoline for 1987, 1989, and 1991.

That was a true story - he said it came up in the break room when someone asked their mechanic if they should be running premium in V8s, and she mentioned her situation. Apparently, there was just total pin drop silence in the room for like 60 seconds.

I love her dearly, but I can see my wife doing something like that as a kid. She is quite smart intellectually , but pulled the short straw when it comes to those kind of spatial skills...
